DMA NORTH PLEDGES SUPPORT TO THE TRANSPLANTS TRUST
The Direct Marketing Association in the North has entered into a 12 month partnership to support The Transplant Trust formally Transplants in Mind, a national charity which raises awareness of organ and tissue donation. Kicking off with the DMA North Glitter Ball at the Hilton in Manchester on 16 May, the trade association has pledged the income from all its fundraising activity in 2008/09 to support The Transplants Trusts work.

As well as the Glitter Ball, the DMA also aims to raise funds through other industry social events and encourage member companies from across the region to consider the charity for corporate social responsibility programmes as well as raise awareness of organ donation and the related issues among its membership.

Deborah Wroe, DMA North regional manager, comments: “We hope to generate much needed funds for Transplants in Mind as well as boost awareness of organ donation among our membership and the wider business community in the north. The opt-in/opt-out debate surrounding organ donation has really brought the issue into the spotlight and we hope to harness this heightened interest to raise awareness and much needed funds for the charity.”

We are already proud to be associated with DMA North and are always looking for more corporate supporters, so whatever the size of your company do give Fundraising Manager Anna Perkins a call to see how we can work together. The most popular way to help The Transplant Trust is to support National Transplant Week, held annually. Click Here to download a fundraising pack
