The Transplant Trust is the only charity in the UK to fund research across all transplantation disciplines with the clear objective to improve the lives of patients and families affected by transplantation.
Our research will focus on:
· Supporting the failing organ and patient
· Increasing donor organ utilisation
· Improving organ donor quality
· Improving the diagnosis of rejection
· Understanding acute and chronic allographic dysfunction
· Developing less toxic and more effective means of immuno-suppression
