The Transplant Trust have just signed up to funding 2 research projects being carried out by the Department of Academic Emergency Medicine (DAEM) at the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.
These represent the first research projects since the Charity’s remit was changed to incorporate Research Activity.
The first research project is a study Exploring ambulance personnels’ knowledge, beliefs, attitudes and training about tissue donation. The second project is similar but covers Emergency Nurses.
The Transplant Trust is excited about both of these projects, which will be taking place shortly. The key results of both of thee projects will be published on our website at the end of the research.
